I was Born in Locarno and grew up in Mosogno (Onsernone Valley) where I attended the elementary school. After that I graduated from Collegio Papio in Ascona achieving my middle school diploma.
I took my first steps in sports playing football, I was selected by Ticino’s Team to take part in the team and starting from summer 2015 I decided to dedicate myself to athletics. After that in 2012 I also had a chance to shine standing at the second place in the Migros 60m National finals and on the Mille Gruyere on the 1000m.
I soon became acquainted with my qualities as a sprinter manifesting my talent with great extent in the 400m race. In this same category in 2016 I had the privilege compete in the European U18 championship in Tbilisi to later bear the title of Swiss champion.
2017 definitely was an exceptional year: I conquered the Indoor Swiss U18 Championships in the 60m, 200m, 400m repeating my success in September with the respective titles in 100m, 200m and finally 400m. Regarding the last category mentioned I became the second seating indoor Swiss Champion.
Afterwards I ranked ninth at the U20 European Championship in Grosseto and, dulcis in fundo, I became Swiss Champion at the Relay 4x400m Race from Virtus.
At the end of 2017 I wanted to take a leap in quality, so I decided to leave Ticino to ship to the Limmat’s shores to join LC Zurich; with the support of trainer Flavio Zberg I had the chance to make a long-term plan for both my school and sports education in order to optimize my learning in both fields.
As per my planned and previously mentioned school education I am currently following courses in German that will enable me to achieve my Commercial High School diploma.
Regarding the sports side of my education following the same plan made me grow exponentially enabling me, from victory to victory, from record to record to reach various achievements as the youngest Swiss Champion ever and to rank third at the U20 European Championships in Boras (Sweden).
Even more recently in 2021 I obtained the title of U23 European Champion in Tallinn (Estonia) in the 400m qualifying for the Tokyo Olympic Games. There I had the great pleasure to compete with the greatest athletic talents in the world, where I was also able to reach the semifinal as the youngest athlete and as the third youngest European athlete ever.
